It was a beautiful concert with surprise performances by the Chicago Vocal Consort. At least, I wasn't expecting this. The Beethoven performance by the orchestra was met with a standing ovation. With the bottleneck at the "ticket area" I couldn't coordinate an actual meetup with the members who attended, but I hope they enjoyed it. The next concert is the Summer Concert on June 8th at Grace Lutheran Church in River Forest. These church locations are sought after by the orchestra because of their great acoustics. Please come join us for Mozart, Brahms and Bach.

It was a good concert but I was disappointed at not being able to meet others. Maybe next time there could be a designated meeting place. I would not want to be sitting alone again.
