Hey, Darek and Isiah! So glad you could make it! Did you meet each other? Valerie, Beth and I play in the orchestra. We tried to meet you before the concert, but it didn't work out. Sorry. How did you like the concert? Hope you'll come to another concert next season!

The weather is just too perfect to spend the afternoon indoors.

Haha, Beth! I know! I felt the same way when I was lugging my violin into the building for the concert!!! We had a very good concert. People went wild for "Bolero"! We got a standing "o". And the young man who played "Rhapsody in Blue" really wowed the crowd.

I have to cancel with a great deal of disappointment. Elizabeth, I hope we meet in the near future at another event.

Maestro Friedman has an astounding knowledge of the literature, and he's an imaginative programmer. We're really lucky to have him!

Hey, Susan! It's going to be a very enjoyable concert!

Forgot to ask...what age is "senior" for the Dominican University concerts?

    May 13, 2013

    • Valerie M.

"Senior" is 65, I'm told, though I don't think anyone asks for ID.

If anyone wants to go out to dinner after the concert, it might be fun! There are many restaurants in the area, all different price ranges, etc. The concert starts at 4 p.m. and should be over by 5:30 or 6:00.
