On June 21, the city erupts with music as Rush Hour Concerts presents Make Music Chicago - a FREE, citywide festival of music. The Grand Finale is a two-hour concert event featuring a stellar roster of artists, including:
CSO Brass Quintet - selections from West Side Story
Spektral Quartet - Verdi's String Quartet in e minor
Fifth House Ensemble with participants from the 2013 fresh inc festival
Quintet Attacca - music of Paquito D'Rivera, Arturo Marquez, and Astor Piazzolla
Janet Sung and Kuang-Hao Huang - Poulenc's Sonata for Violin and Piano
Singers from the Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center at Lyric Opera of Chicago - selections from Carousel, The Marriage of Figaro, and Dido and Aeneas.
