Symphony-on-Film at Music Box Theater!

2 great symphony-on-film programs coming to the Music Box Theater this Summer

Italian Symphony hits the big screen in the vibrant MusicEmotion: Filarmonica Della Scala – Symphony in Cinemas programs screening in St. Petersburg this Summer.  These wonderful programs, all filmed at Milan's famous Teatro alla Scala, feature world-renowned conductors, including Riccardo Chailly and Bobby McFerrin, leading performances of masterpieces by Mozart, Verdi, Strauss, Bernstein and others.  The camera weaves through the Filarmonica Della Scala, bringing the nuances of the performers to life.  The event is given context with backstage interviews, quick introductions of the composers’ lives, and anecdotes on the creation of the works. An Old World musical experience presented in High Definition!

general ticket price: $10

Some parts of Chicago are not driving nightmares, such as West of Milwaukee and south of Devon. I find it horrendous to get to the North Shore.

I guess it all depends where you live and what type of events you like going to. I love Ravinia and even tho it is a parking lot on the Off ramp from 94, I still go, on occasion.

I hope that you'll have an event closer to the North Shore. Driving to Chicago is a nightmare.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
