The Jason Seed Stringtet at Rush Hour Concerts

Join Rush Hour Concerts next Tuesday, July 2 for Rush Hour Fusion: a whirlwind tour of musical lands near and far, old and new, led by the Jason Seed Stringtet and pipa sensation Yang Wei. FREE admission!
Award-winning composer/guitarist Jason Seed has been writing music since childhood. He founded the Jason Seed Stringtet in 2008 with members of the Chicago and Milwaukee Symphony Orchestras to perform his multi-faceted compositions that blend jazz, folk, and international styles with classical sensibilities. Seed draws inspiration from such genre-bending composers as Astor Piazzolla and Heitor Volla-Lobos, as well as street musicians of Eastern Europe, and takes chamber music to new musical landscapes. The Jason Seed Stringtet will be joined by world-renowned pipa player Yang Wei, whose own music bridges the centuries of ancient and modern Chinese styles.

PRIORITY SEATING FOR MEETUP FOLK: RSVP "yes" for the Jason Seed Stringtet and enjoy reserved seating in the third row from the stage on the right (marked as Row 54 - it's an old church).
