Have you attended a CSO concert before?

What other classical music events have you attended in the last 18 months?

Do you/have you ever played an instrument?

Yes, but not well.

How did you become interested in classical music?

Hard to say.

Classical music is very important to me. I'm interested in sharing the experience with others in live performances.

What Scott is saying about this Meetup Group

The Chicago Philharmonic, composed of members of the Lyric Opera Orchestra, may be second only to the CSO. (Actually some of the musicians fancy a rivalry exists between the two groups.) Certainly it is a smaller orchestra and may be challenged by some of the CSO's larger scale productions, but the quality is evident. Add to that the opportunity to sit not 15 feet from the conductor, and the advantage is obvious. I have never been privileged to be so close to the performers and to be able to observe and hear sounds at this range. For all who missed the event, you can see details about upcoming concerts at Very nice event!
