Meeting Description: Avoid the stress of rush hour traffic, and stay downtown after work! Head over to Symphony Center for this CSO Afterwork Masterworks Rush Hour Concert conducted by Manfred Honeck. This program features Strauss' sensational musical self-portrait, Ein Heldenleben, which has long been one of the CSO's showpieces. With its tender love music and sonic fireworks, this is Strauss at his showstopping best. Also featured is CSO Principal Cello, John Sharp, as the soloist in Saint-Sa?ns? popular and tuneful First Cello Concerto.

The program is followed by a reception with CSO musicians and complementary wine from Geyser Peak Winery.

Please note!! Be sure to RSVP YES and call our Box Office to order tickets by Thursday, March 6th. Speak to Brian at (312)[masked] from 10 am to 6 pm and be sure to mention you are calling as part of the Meetup Event!
