Anime Midwest Meetup!

Hello all! This is a gathering to go to Anime Midwest if anyone is interested. There will be a bunch of videogame tournaments, free-play, arcades, and board/table-top games for anyone that is interested. There are also some cool panelists such as the Nostalgia Critic/Doug Walker. If you are interested, RSVP here and we can all come up with a day and time when people can meet. For more information on the Con:

Myself and a couple of others will be there all three days, so come and say hello!

I'm on the fence here about going or not going, depending on my schedule. Sat. is least likely. Between Fri. and Sun., Sun. is more likely, and even then, I may decide to do both.

I'm thinking of showing up all 3 days.. Or not at all, high probability that I will be dressed as Wolf from the Payday gang, on one of the days If I end up going.

Steve and I will be at G-Fest down the street on Friday morning and we'll be stopping by. Anybody want to grab lunch in the area before the convention starts?

Its a small little convention dedicated to Japanese monster movies. Specifically Godzilla and gamera and everything in between. Its held at the crowne plaza hotel in Rosemont every year and the year it happens to be the same weekend as this show.

I just took second look at the date for this meetup and I guess I was a little mixed up. Anime Midwest is this weekend but the date for G-Fest is from the 11th to the 13th. Oops. sorry everyone.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
