Scary Video Games Showcase

Sponsored by David!

Horror movies are great, but they are passive. What’s really scary is participating in a nightmare through an interactive medium. This meetup is all about the scariest video games, especially those hidden gems that everyone may not have heard about.

We will demo as many games as we have time for. So feel free to bring a game to demo and tell us about it. Or just come and see some of the scariest games we can scrounge up. There will be food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic provided). Free parking on Wabansia.

If you are bringing a game, please let me know ahead of time so I can make sure the needed system is ready. I have the following systems available:
- PC (please ask me ahead)
- PS2
- Xbox 360
- PS3
- GameCube

If there is a system that was not named, feel free to bring it.

If you have trouble finding my place just email me at [masked] I put up a sign, but it may fall off from the rain. It's a smaller brick house

Great to see the RSVPs. If anyone is bringing a game, can you email me in advance so I can make sure I'm prepared?

My wife has a slipped disk in her back so I can't attend, but make sure to demo Amnesia and Slender: The 8 Pages! for PC.

Those games are definitely on the table. But I'm really excited to demo The Path

The Path was also great - my wife and I never finished - but I thought it was really exciting. It was also out there way before all this fantasy/faerie stuff became so popular.

I've got a number of non-video game related Halloween events lined up to. Join my Facebook group for more info
