New Years Resolutions... Have they lasted

Fresh from our New Year Partying, and post Christmas Blues, the next book club meeting will be at Vintage Pub Bistro on January 17th. The book for for January is Ham on Rye by Charles Bukowski and it is available on Kindle as well as in paper.

For those of you who are not familiar with Vintage Pub Bistro they serve drinks and food. The full menu is available on their website should you wish to eat during the book club.

If you could RVSP if you are coming so we know the numbers Vintage have indicated that they could reserve an appropriate size table / area for us to sit, but that eating of food is optional.

The Food in Vintage was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. The book provoked some strong views, and felt like a Marmite Book, you either liked or disliked it.

Hi Rosemary, If you think you are coming then if you could RSVP it helps gauge the numbers to talk to Vintage about, but if you have RSVP'd and find you cannot make it then changing it may help. They have offered to set a table / area to onside for us, so an idea of numbers is useful but not essential. Its a first for us there for other than a full sit down meal for all so we are not quite sure how it will all work. eating is optional, and I hope you can make it.
