Introduction
Welcome to the Atlanta Backyard Poultry Chicken Meetup Group! I look forward to meeting all of you! Now pull up a rocking chair, pop open that RC Cola, and start eating that Moon Pie! It's time to talk chickens!
What breed of chickens do you own?
Rhode Island Reds, ISA Browns, Araucanas/Americanas, Light Brahmas, White Leghorn, Barred Rock, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Seramas, Silkies.
How many chickens do you own?
I own between 30 and 100 depending on how many chicks I have at any given time.
What do you like most about owning chickens?
I love to collect eggs every morning, as well as watch them socialize in the backyard.
How long have you owned chickens?
I have owned chickens for the past 6 years.
How many people (other than yourself) have you helped get started owning chickens?
I have helped many others start small backyard flocks in the past 6 years.

We really do have a great group of people who love to share important information with each other. Everyone is so nice and we are making new friends at every meeting. Our members are from all over Georgia and from all walks of life, but all have something in common that brings us together... CHICKENS!
