Introduction
We enjoy raising different types of chickens and would enjoy meeting others that enjoy the same. We raise chickens and goats on our family farm along with our garden. This is my son with his Goldenneck D'uccle hen.
What breed of chickens do you own?
We have Americana ,Buff Orps and Barred Rocks, in stanards. We have Golden Neck d'uccles,White,Silver Duckwing, Blue Wheaten Old English, White Silkies, Buff Brahmas,Birchen & Brown Red Moderns in Bantams. My son and nephew show Bantams.
How many chickens do you own?
We have around 35 standards and Bantams.
What do you like most about owning chickens?
The chickens and goats are stress releif to me.
How long have you owned chickens?
I have been raising chickens on and off for 30 years.
How many people (other than yourself) have you helped get started owning chickens?
I have helped at least 2 dozen kids and adults to get started.
