Hi Ladies, Sam and I discussed before she left at the possibility of trying a different spot to knit. There is a tea cafe in Glenmore landing just a hop, skip and a jump from Good Earth. I went in today and it's a lovely place with lots of tables and they serve tea and cofee as well as goodies. We can also make reservations which makes the task of finding a table alot easier. So let me know what you think about the idea of changing it for the next meetup on Saturday and I'll book a table.
Thanks and happy knitting! Connie Assistant Organizer
We are a group of gals and guys that meet, mingle and trade with people interested in "stichin" of all kinds. Not only do we have regular meet-ups on alternating Tuesday and Wednesday nights, but we plan special events such as potlucks and yarn shares. Meet interesting people with a variety of backgrounds but the common love of fibre whether that be wool, thread or fabric! Yes "chicks" can be male or female. Last time I checked it was 50/50 in the coup ;-). If you are man enough to knit, your man enough to be a chick!
