Four women. Four topics.

After each lightning talk, we'll have some Q&A time to ask each of our presenters about choosing talk topics, applying or getting offers to speak, and the process of preparing and practicing presenting.

We may even open the mic for chiDUXX members to do an impromptu talk!

Mingling to follow the planned portion of the evening.

NOTE: We will constantly be accepting volunteers and nominations for participation at similar events in the future, and to create a general "go to" list of speakers and their preferred topics.

Thank you for a great opportunity to learn from other women and especially for creating the beginnings of a community. I really enjoyed last night's session and I look forward to more in the future. Can't wait!

UXer with terrible presentation fears. Need to be a grown up and get over this. Hope this will help.

How many people are we expecting? I might be able to volunteer a location. Would we want a room set up with round tables and chairs?

    March 20, 2013

    • Gemma P.

Hi Louise - Thanks for asking! Since we are still so new, we aren't sure how to accurately estimate our attendance. We managed to get space in 1871 for this round (the presentation equipment will be helpful), but as the group progresses we would definitely welcome your offer if the size seems manageable.
