Sorry I won't be able to make it this time around. I' heading up to Alton Bay, Lake Winniepesaukee for the big Ice Fishing Tourney. I will be photographing - not fishing. Thanks for starting this group. I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully we can get a fun group to come up surf casting in season. I love fishing, but I'm no expert. I only throw the line and pull out fish! You might call it lucky. Plus I've never really fished around here; so I don't have any equipment... yet! However -as you might have noticed from my photos- I'm always up for new adventures. Unfortunately, I already have plans for Saturday. But I'll try to join the next event. Cheers

Yo, I'm no fishing expert, but I go a lot.This season my preference will be to fish out of my kayak in the salt. But I'm not going to miss out on fresh water, especially when trout are being stocked. I've never gone ice fishing so I don't have the needed gear. I doubt I will be able to make it. Once that ice thaws i'll be in for sure.

Hi Aspen...thanks for the greeting. I'm an avid hiker and have a snowshoe event planned for the 12th. Only saltwater fishing in the Boston area. All of my fresh water experience has been in NH, ME or the Cape. Big ice fishing derby in Wolfboro this weekend. You should check it out. I'm sure will catch up with each other at an event in the near future. Enjoy.
