I've always wanted one, but never chose one. A friend took in this chuhuahua and then had to leave him with someone because her apt didn't allow dogs. I started taking care of him for the weekend only, and now after three months, we pretty much acknowledge that he's mine. So, I did finally get a chihuahua after all!
One, his name is Carlos. He looked like a Carlos.
Carlos fell asleep on my arm and I didn't want to wake him, so I was holding still. When I realized that I was going through pain, I finally pulled my arm from under his head. He woke up, looked at me with a groggy expression, then rolled up and went back to sleep without skipping a heart beat.
I own him, and my cats own him as well. Sometimes I think he feels he's a cat because he's the same shape and color. This is one reason that I'd like to meet other chi owners, so Carlos will realize that yes, he is a dog, not a cat. lol
My boy, Carlos, is now three years old and he has enjoyed playing with all his Chi friends at this monthly meet up.
Fantastic group for the Chi's to meet, and Chi owner to stay connected.
