KidLit Holiday Party!

Seasons Greetings writers,

You're either neck-deep in NaNoWriMo or working on your own projects on your own time. Either way, you feel the end of the year creeping up on you.

Now is the time for family, friends, fun, stress, stuffing the Turkey and your face, putting the finishing touches on this year's goals while setting new ones for 2013.

It has always been fun for me to host the KidLit Holiday Bash. It's a tradition now that includes:

  • bringing your writing goals for 2013
  • sharing your ideas for how to improve KidLit for all
  • games
  • FOOD!

This year we are doing a potluck get together. Bring enough to feed 8-10. That should be plenty, considering everyone will probably bring something. If you can't bring anything, please don't let that deter you from coming. We will have enough for all. Just send me an email to let me know.

I will take care of all beverages, plates, utensils, napkins, etc.

I look forward to celebrating the achievements of the group members, and looking ahead to an even bigger and better 2013.

Happy writing,

Loved the Casa de Kathleen setting... Had a great time playing games and the food was really great! The best (and scariest) was setting our 2013 goals... Love this group!

I am having the busiest week of my year and thus will probably bring some kind of cop-out food. But I look forward to this!

Also called Halloween puppy chow and other various nicknames, basically it's chex cereal coated in chocolate and peanut butter and then coated in powdered sugar

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
