Apple Picking at Russell Orchards in Ipswich

It's September in MA, so that means Apple Picking!

I went to this orchard last year and it was a lot of fun. They have free hayrides to the orchard, a small petting zoo, and a store where you can buy lots of stuff, including fresh-made cider donuts, apple cider, various fruit wines and hard ciders, and ice cream!

The bags are $15/each and 'peck' size. They hold about 10lbs of Apples, so we can decide on splitting bags if people want. I know I found it tough to use up all the apples from my bag last year.

Here's the website.

If you want to offer a ride or need to carpool, please include that in your comment when you RSVP. The current weather forecast as of Sun 9/12 for Sunday 9/19 is a 30% chance of a few showers, but that's a whole week away. I'll keep an eye on it and may move this to Saturday if the weather stays rainy for Sunday.

It looks like the weather will be fine on Sunday, so no need for the Saturday rain date.
