Practice Chinese at CCACC Toastmasters Club Meeting

CCACC Toastmasters Club is located at Chinese Culture and Community Center in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Since this year, the first and third Saturday of every month, the Club has had meetings in Chinese (Mandarin). This is the only Toastmasters Club in the region that Chinese is spoken as official language! If you'd like to find a place to practice Chinese speaking and have fun when communicating with a group of Chinese professional and people like you whose native language is not Chinese, this is a great opportunity for you!

Our next Chinese club meeting is Saturday February 2nd from 5:30PM to 6:30PM. The club address is 9366 Gaither Road, CCACC - Room 143, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.

Level for non-native Chinese speakers: Intermediate to Advanced

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, members from other Toastmasters Clubs can join. Actually we are very welcome members from other TM clubs as they are already familiar with the meeting roles and procedures. We exepct our speakers/guests/members who speak Chinese at intermediate to advanced level. We will have a Chinese club meeting tomorrow (Feb 16th 5:30 to 6:30PM at the same location). You can come and try to see if it is suitable for you or not.

    Two questions:

    1) What level Chinese is expected (i.e. intermediate? high intermediate? near-fluent?)
    2) Can members from other Toastmasters join, or do you have to join as a separate group?
