What are your favorite Chinese dishes and foods?

I love pretty much anything Sichuan and miss the street food.

How would you describe your level of Chinese? (Eg it's my native language OR I don't speak it OR I learned some dialect from my family but little Mandarin, OR I can speak a few words, simple conversations, etc.)

I started learning Chinese fall 2013 and just returned to the states from an immersion program at PKU. I can definelty get around using just Chinese and am very comfortable speaking for long periods of time.

What kind of events and activities would you be interested in? What would you like to do at our events?

Dinner always sounds great or even a get together at a coffee place. Maybe cultural events too! I would love to just connect with people.

What could this group provide for you that no other Meetup could?

Help me practice Chinese and get to know people who understand me a little better.

Where did you grow up? How did you learn Chinese? Tell us your story.

I grew up in NJ and started taking Chinese in college. It's difficult, but I love it!

I just returned from China and I'm looking to further improve my language development! I'm a person that loves exploring life and all it has to offer.
