What are your favorite Chinese dishes and foods?

Anything involving omelettes or cashew nuts. But seriously, as long as it doesn't have bean paste in it I should probably be fine.

How would you describe your level of Chinese? (Eg it's my native language OR I don't speak it OR I learned some dialect from my family but little Mandarin, OR I can speak a few words, simple conversations, etc.)

I'd say I'm at an intermediate level. I can carry on most day-to-day conversations, but I don't have the vocabulary to speak about advanced topics like politics or current events just yet.

What kind of events and activities would you be interested in? What would you like to do at our events?

I'm at the events to just talk and listen to other people speak Chinese! So anything that facilitates that, I'm up for.

What could this group provide for you that no other Meetup could?

A large community of like-minded Chinese speakers.

Where did you grow up? How did you learn Chinese? Tell us your story.

Ask me at a meetup!

I have a strange addiction to dianxin and soup baozi.
