Hong Shao Niu Rou Mian. La Zi Ji Ding. Yan Su Ji. Mu Shu Ji. Qing Zheng Yu. All kinds of fish. Anything with black bean sauce, szechuan peppercorns, bitter melon will be great. Reddish cheeks and tears running down my face. And I LOVE TARO!
I've been around the language for most of my life and can think in Chinese, but there's always more to learn.
Events must somehow involve Chinese food. Everything else is just a bonus. I also get excited watching mandarin movies that have food scenes in them.
It's enjoyable to engage with people with similar interests. We have something in common but each person brings a unique perspective. Our interaction allows us to see issues in a new light, and with new insights.
Studied about 6 years of Chinese at university level. Was in PRC and Taiwan for several years for various work and study.
Hi, I'm Andy. I host some of our events for fluent or more advanced Chinese speakers. My goal for these events is to develop fun and interesting activities for those who want to maintain a Chinese-speaking social circle.
This club does not teach you Chinese but it's a place to speak the Mandarin you already know- beginner to native speaker.
