Dumplings, gong bao ji ding and yu xiang rou si are all some of my favorite chinese foods.
I can speak an advanced level of basic mandarin. Nothing fancy but definitely more than enough to get by.
I would love to meet people to give me an opportunity to practice and learn more mandarin.
The chance to meet with people and hopefully find a language partner.
I grew up in Rockville, Maryland. I learned chinese when I recieved a scholarship for a masters program at Shanghai University of Sport. After studying there for a year and a half I returned to the states in search for work. The way I learned Chinese was by going out into the streets and interacting and making lots of chinese friends. This method was much more effective then others who decided to spend all day studying their textbooks in their rooms.
I'm a 23 year old University of Maryland Graduate. After graduating I studied for a year and half in Shanghai. I fell in love with the language and the culture and want to continue studying.
