Introduction

This is a good question. I want to meet people from a different cultural background, especially those who are currently studying Chinese. I am also looking for friendship and serious relatioship

What are your favorite Chinese dishes and foods?

Typical Shanghai dishes, especially cooked by my mother. Here are some examples: Meat Wrapped with Dried tofu leaves. Bellpepers Stuffed with Meat. Roast Beef Shanghai Style. Green Beans stirfried... Hotpot Shanghai Style. Peking Duck

How would you describe your level of Chinese? (Eg it's my native language OR I don't speak it OR I learned some dialect from my family but little Mandarin, OR I can speak a few words, simple conversations, etc.)

It is my native language. However, I speak Shanghai dialect at home. But my Mandarin is at the OK level. In terms of writing, my skills has degraded somehow.

What kind of events and activities would you be interested in? What would you like to do at our events?

What could this group provide for you that no other Meetup could?

I Just want to meet people who speak Chinese and who are currently learing Chinese. Also, I am looking for friendships and relationships! I hope this is a good enough answer

Where did you grow up? How did you learn Chinese? Tell us your story.

I grew up in Shanghai, China. I came to this country when I was 16 Years old. My Chinese has become rustic. I think it is time for remedial education!
