Do you want to learn something about traditional Chinese game? In this lecture, I invite Mr Simon Mok to give us a lecture about the two Chinese ancient game: CHINESE CHESS and GO. These both game both have close to 3,000 years of history and are still being played by a big population in China, Japan and Korea. Chinese chess is so important in Chinese culture, today "BO YI"- the ancient name of Chinese chess still means "GAME" and used widely in the business world too! In this lecture, as a Chess and Go player for more than 30 years, Simon will introduce these two games's history, culture and techniques to us. Learning these two games may help you greatly at business and life too!

By the end, we are going to have one or two round of real game too!

There is $10 charge per person by Paypal to cover the lecturer's fee, tea and snacks. At door charge will be $15.

I had a good time. The teacher, while kind and patient, didn't have much experiencing teaching the rather complex game of GO. I did however enjoy talking to the people there and I do look forward to future meetings.
