May 5 Skype Chinese Hour: "Frequently Asked Questions 17" - How have you been?

  • May 5, 2012 · 8:00 PM

Yes, "long time no see" may have come from Chinese, but can you actually say it in Chinese? :)

It's always great to hook up again with friends - and sometimes even family, if you roam the world the way I do. Learn how to greet and what to say when you're trying to catch up with those you haven't seen or talked to for a while.

Can you say, "so what have you been up to lately?", or, "how's family?" Let's Skype!

To join, log on to Skype by 6:55 pm. Request the contact "moreopenmind"(New York) (you won't be able to see me on) and message, "Chinese Workshop", and I will conference-call everyone at 7 pm. The Skype Meetup is planned for an hour. Skype is perfect for practicing listening and speaking. Don't miss it!

only way to learn it to gather up vocabulary. Especially expressions currently used by ppl today. This is one place to download more of that. :-)
