Apr. 15: "Encore Series 1" - For Appearance's Sake
Back by popular demand, we are revisiting some of our most popular past lessons! If you have missed them the first time around, here's your chance - and maybe the last one - to catch them! Kat is leaving for China no later than in two month's time - and may stay there for up to a year - so ask all your Mandarin questions before she goes!
Appearance or physical attributes is a sensitive topic, but Chinese love to go there. We tell people we are too fat, or too flat, or which part we want to have a plastic surgery for!
Moreover, we are not shy about talking about other people's appearance either. We will ask you if you have gained a pound or two, tease you about your receding hairline, and give you free advice on how to become "fairer"(-skinned)! It's all part of our mentality of being helpful.
So let's get "physical", and take a "good look"! We will learn how to describe and comment on our own and others' appearance. Join us and make an "appearance"!
