Many Westerners think the Chinese (Mandarin) is difficult. However, it is like any language you must put in time and afford in obtaining mastery. The structure is based on four tones, no conjugation of verbs, and one word for he, she, it, they (ta) tone distinguish meaning. I love learning it and hope to acquire fluency one day.
