Mandarin Conversation in Longwood Medical Area 下午6点到晚上8点

We will talk in English and Mandarin.

If you would like to share in English and Mandarin (as a speaker on an American topic - or a Chinese topic interesting to Americans) from 7:00 to 7:20 pm, e-mail in advance.  We are scheduling bilingual speakers to show off their talents to advanced through beginning Mandarin speakers.

The schedule:
6:00 - 7:00 pmGeneral Discussion - BOTH Mandarin & English

bilingual "guest" speaker: Gareth Marshall: "Sports in China and the US" (in Mandarin and English)

7:30 - 8:00 pmMandarin discussion of Mandarin talk -General discussion in Mandarin will follow our speaker's talk.

The TUESDAY evening event is ALWAYS in at the Harvard School of Public Health, 677 Huntington Avenue, in the Longwood Medical Area, Boston, MA 02115 (near Mission Hill).


Mandarin speakers need to register IN ADVANCE to get the location at HSPH and to get permission.

E-Mail [masked] and [masked] (with first and last name as they appear on the ID you present to the HSPH security guard) to register your intent - AND also sign YES on this meetup.


The request FROM YOU for admission on Tuesday evening NEEDS to be COMPLETED by 4 pm the day before the event.

The anonymity of the Meetup interface will NOT get you into the building for THIS event. This additional measure of transparency and COMPLIANCE is required for you to make your way TO the actual event.

IF you hope to bring guests, their names will be required so that they can also get building passes.
