We are a welcoming bunch of sinophiles, overseas Chinese, BBCs, English teachers and Mandarin learners.

 

As not everyone wants to socialise or learn in the same ways we are trying to get a good variety of events set up and operating regularly to keep everyone satisfied.

 

At the moment we are trying the following categories to see what response we get and we are really keen to hear your suggestions for other categories:

 

DRINKS – Meet up and socialise/language exchange over drinks; alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic.

 

FOOD – Meet up and enjoy Chinese food, hot pot, dim sum etc. (I’ve found a great looking Xinjiang restaurant if anyone’s interested…)

 

KTV – Need I say more?

 

GAMES – Meet up and learn some great Chinese games: Xiangqi? Chudadi? Mah Jong? Dou Di Zhu? That dice game with the cups…?

CULTURE - There are always chinese asian exhibitions, music concerts, films, festivals (Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat, blah blah ) events happening in London.
