Summertime means it's time for Chocolate! During this meetup we'll gather at Dandelion Chocolate Cafe and Factory. The owners are willing to speak to our group about their passion for making artisan chocolate. If you're interested in trying their hot or "frozen" chocolate drinks and chocolate desserts bring your wallet as Dandelion serves a great after work treat! Dandelion also has samplings of their current bars as well as roasted cacao beans. If you are interested in learning more about Chocolate and enjoying a great product made locally, come and join us! Even if you can't make it for the whole evening, stop by to say hi and taste some chocolate.
"Dandelion Chocolate is a bean-to-bar chocolate factory in the Mission District of San Francisco. We’re excited to bring artisan bean-to-bar chocolate back to the bay area. Like many, we miss Scharffen Berger now that they moved east to join Hershey’s. We lost our local source for cocoa nibs and some of our favorite bars of dark chocolate. We hope and aspire to take over where others have left off and bring quality, local chocolate back to the area. Dandelion Chocolate was started by Cameron Ring and Todd Masonis in 2010."
