Met up with Angela at meet up table and received much needed water to cleanse palette during chocolate tasting. See photo of us sampling. Had fun but fall event is small. Heard March event is huge.

Stay tuned for our "meetup within the meetup" announcement. As with past events we will schedule a time to gather together and enjoy listening to a speaker at this event. Once the Chocolate Salon has announced their speak Also, please stop by our SF Bay Area Meetup table and get a nametag/meetup sticker so other members can spot you! Looking forward to another awesome year.

Hi! Looks like they sold advanced tix last year but they're not available yet for 2013? When do they go on sale? I'd loooove to go and want to make sure I can get a ticket!

    September 26, 2013

    • Linda

Just checked and tickets are now on sale! :)

      October 18, 2013

You can buy a ticket for $25 at the event. Cash only.

There's a meetup table when you get inside, next to Tipsy Tea. Sign in. Get a name tag and free bottle of water. Enjoy! Come hungry. There are many vendors and wine tastings! Then step outside for the farmers market. If you didn't get your advance ticket for $20 on eventbrite, be prepared to pay $25 cash at the door. Worth it.

If I attend this event, I might be a bit late because of either having to walk from Civic Ctr. BART or taking the public transportation depending on the times they run.

Ann, Call 311 from your cell phone when you arrive in SF. Tell MUNI your location and they will tell you which bus to take to Ft. Mason.

Walk to Van Ness. Take either 47 or 49 bus (going North) to Chestnut, then take 30 bus on opposite side of Van Ness going West. Get off at Laguna. Or you could walk to Laguna from Van Ness. Then walk to Beach Street, and then Ft. Mason.

I can't wait! This is going to be so much fun. I've always wanted to do something like this but the timing never seemed to be right. I'm glad it worked out this time around.

Cannot wait-- what is not to love about chocolate.

Keep in mind that the chocolate is high quality! Good quality chocolate costs at least $5 a bar if not more depending on the origin and exclusivity. It's easy to pace yourself at the event and half the fun is meeting and talking to the Chocolatiers about their love of chocolate and business!

Actually I enjoy the meeting and socializing with the group whilst doing something fun. I'm starting to think this is going to be too slow paced for me. We'll see. :)

So once inside everything is free samples correct? And free to take home, since I can't imagine being able to eat masses of chocolate to offset the expense all at once, as much as I may LOVE chocolate.....

    October 18, 2013

    • TasteTV

Free to sample as much as you like, but hoarding samples and taking it home is discouraged.
