Hi all... I hope you made it to the Chocolate Show and have recovered by now!!
I think my favorite new funky combination was Chuao's new bar with pop rocks! I also loved Roni-Sue's pomegranite truffles and amazing buttercrunch!
I've been talking to a few of our members who make chocolate from their home kitchens- (the city's next up-and-coming chocolatiers!) they are interested in having a Chocolate sale the first week of December (just in time for the holidays).
Do any of you have access to a free venue/space in Manhattan to host this event or one of our next Meet Up events?
Please let me know!
p.s. If you are interested in selling your treats, let me know so I can add your name to our list.
Discover CHOCOLATE! Do YOU love chocolate? (Of course you do.) Do you wish you knew more about chocolate? How it is made, where it comes from, how to taste chocolate and not just eat it? Do you like to eat interesting and hard-to-find chocolates from all over the world? Do you want to learn how to make chocolate in your own home? Do you just want to enjoy the delectable treat in every way possible? If any or all of the above sounds interesting to you -- and you like the idea of getting together with other chocolate lovers to share your passion for the 'food of the gods' then the NYC Chocolate Meetup is the group for you. The NYC Chocolate Meetup: - meets at least monthly - meets in chocolate-related venues in the NY Metro Area - involves eating really interesting & fun chocolates - is a place to learn about chocolate - is a great group of people - would benefit from your participation
