The Chocolate Museum invites us on the 1st October (the World Cocoa and Chocolate Day) to celebrate and learn more about the production of chocolate, with beans-to-bar makers and artisan chocolatiers' chocolates on display. This is a night to also appreciate, and raise awareness of, the plight of the cocoa farmers, who often work in extremely tough conditions to produce the chocolate that we eat for pleasure.
The Chocolate Museum will be serving a vast array of delicious, chocolate-inspired food from 6pm onwards, along with speciality drinks. This will be followed by a chocolate tasting at 8pm, with the film Nothing Like Chocolate, playing throughout the evening in the Museum downstairs.
The Chocolate Museum hopes for the evening to delight your senses and broaden the awareness of current issues facing cocoa farmers today. Don't forget to buy a few of our delicious chocolates to devour back home!
On the day you'll pay £3 entrance fee which includes cocoa tea or hot chocolate and tasting.
The Chocolate meetup group has a strict "no show" policy and you will be banned if you have 3 "no shows".
