Meet other local people who are interested in, and who practice, Christian meditation and contemplative prayer. Our group is specifically designed for those who seek to enter into deep, intentional, prayerful silence, in a Christ-centered discipline. Christian meditation is an encouraging way of prayer, that invites us to gently turn away from the ceaseless chatter of our passing thoughts and feelings, and to "be still and know" the loving presence of God in our lives (Psalm 46:10).

While it is possible to find many different techniques and styles of meditation, our focus is specifically on Christ and Christian spirituality — although, of course, sincere and respectful people of all faith traditions are always welcome. Our meetings are designed to combine significant periods of silence with prayerful reflection on scripture (usually one or more of the Psalms).
