Do you want to come to the NTCOF 'Mythmas' party?

Social Director Brad Watson has found an excellent place for the end of year solstice party. The clubhouse associated with Timmaron Estates (the same place where we play obnoxious ball) is available for our use. We can have it from 6-9 PM on Saturday the 13th for only $150. That's a bargain-and-a-half!!! (I've attended a wedding shower there before and it is very nice.) It has a full kitchen, a buffet serving table, leather sofa, tables, chairs, and all the other necessities. The clubhouse overlooks the large pond and the lit fountain outside runs until 11 PM. We'd be hard pressed to do better than this place. P.S. The nice thing about having it on a Sat. evening is that we could make it an actual party, rather than just a polite afternoon get-together (as it has been in then past). We could have know...we could party!

Is the word "Christmas" theological?

We have been hearing this season that unbelievers are "allergic" to the word "Christmas" so that *saying* Christmas or not is being touted as some sort of "litmus test" by some. Yet Richard Dawkins says that he celebrates Christmas and says that the word has been drained of any religious meaning.
