The restaurant was clean. The server wasn't too intrusive, but did come to check on us. Everyone was very friendly and nice. I learned a fun new game and played a new (fun!) version of a game I had already played in college and loved.

What Renee said, plus Lauren and I played The Hanging Gardens while the others were playing Cinque Terre. It was a good close game. She beat me by 1 point.

(I would have wanted to join in with CT, but it was starting to get late for me)

Renee, do you have a "go to" list of games that you typically play? I would be interested, to do some up-front learning. Thanks.

We play a LOT of games, but the ones we play the most often include: Kingsburg, Agricola, In the Year of the Dragon, Settlers of Catan (and its variants), Fresco, Finca, Ra, Thurn & Taxis, Vikings, World Without End, Stone Age, and many more. I'd be more than happy to work with you one-on-one to get you up to speed.

Rammy showed Tim and Ron how to play his new game, Get Lucky. Then Lauren and I arrived, and Ron and Brian joined us for a quick game of Timeline: Diversity. Unbelievably, I won (I was sue Ron would).

Since we had exactly six attendees, we quickly agreed on Ticket to Ride: Team Asia. Brian and I, Lauren and Rammy, and Tim and Ron battled for supremacy, but Brian and I won by a landslide (which buried everyone else in rocks!).

Then Ron, Brian, Tim, and I played Cinque Terre. I also aced this one.

Finally, Ron and I played three rounds of Marrakech. Ron NEVER once landed on my carpets, but I finally beat him the third round by having more carpet squares showing than he!

I'll be bringing yet another new game, and again we are all potential murderers.
