July 11, 2007
I've been using digital photography since the summer of 2001. Until May 2007 I've occasionally used Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro for minor photo editing. After seeing an awesome demo of CS3 I finally decided to buy it. Now I'm lost!
I have participated in the forums, and if schedule permits, I plan to attend a meetup. Would be more likely to attend events closer to Dayton.
CS3 & Elements 7. Will install Elements 8 soon.
Moderate. Quite a bit more with Photoshop Elements 6 & 7. Just got Elements 8.
Mostly for adjusting exposure, color balance, cropping, straightening, and maybe cloning out minor distracting items. Only a little experience with RAW so far.
I'm used to using auto smart fix or comparable in Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro. I barely even know where to start in CS3 or Bridge.
Thanks for joining the Dayton Drone User Group!
I’m in the process of arranging a place for us to fly before we have our first meeting. Hope to be able to post that date soon. I’ll be using a 3DRobotics Quadcopter and several of us are going together to get a fixed wing system also.
Thanks, Dave! I had a great time as well. Looking forward to playing again!
Hi Dave. I am nlooking forward to meeting you at our next meeting. We have a good group that play at all levels.
Thanks for the comments on my images Dave! Yup, that one is an IR effect I learned to do in photoshop. Plus I added some diffuse glow/grain to make it look more like the true film IR images. I kind of took the way I was taught to process it and cooked it some more with my own experimentation to get the look I wanted. I'd be happy to share if you are interested! Glad you like the flower shot. I'm more of a portrait shooter so shooting scenics is quite a bit out of my comfort zone.
Just saying hello to everyone signed up for the Smokies trip!!! Personally, I can't wait! See you there! Nancy C.
nice shots from the low light meet-up!
