Hi Tony, I live in San Francisco where i am an assistant organizer for our Brazilian meet up group. I am currently home in cint, visiting family. I'm teaching myself photoshop and i'd love to join you on Monday for some tips!!! would that be ok?

What version of Photoshop are you using now?
i just made a huge leap from 7.0 to CS5!
What is your level of expertise in Photoshop?
beginner i think. there are a few things that i know really well, but there's a lot more that i know nothing about!
What do you use Photoshop for?
personal photos.
What do you hope to learn or to contribute to this group?
i would like to understand the use of masks better and to learn some more of the tools. i can contribute my sense of humour!

Cafe Brasil on Mission St is great for breakfast or lunch!
The boardwalk is good for kids! A walk or bike along the ocean on West Cliff is beautiful!
If they are young (say under 7), the seymour discovery center is great (http://www2.ucsc.edu/seymourcenter/).
Downtown SC along Pacific Ave has a lot of food and shopping options. (pizza my heart or taqueria vallarta or zoccali's sandwhich's are easy options with kids)
