I used to donate a long time ago. But with my long medical history pls the meds I am on, Im not allowed. Kudos to all of those who do donate. I am a strong supporter of this AND organ donation. I know this is a side note, but please make sure you are registered as an organ donor and let your family and friends know as well. Hopefully you are never in this position, but make it easier on your family by letting them know of your wishes.

I will make sure the donation is in the name of Tri-State Freethinkers. The one in Tri-County is closed Friday and Saturday for anyone who was planning to donate at that location.

Donations are accepted in the name of Tri-State Freethinkers at another location if you can't make it to Clifton. Don't know about your meds Kisha. If she said it's not on the list you're good to go!

Oh, and if you donate on Friday@Cintas Center, you get a free King's Island pass. Not a reason to donate of course, but a free ticket is kinda fun :)

Diann, I was on methotrexate (a chemotherapy pill) in 2005. I mentioned it and the woman said it wasn't on the list. Do you think she made a mistake?

My son and I will be donating on Friday at the Cintas Center @ Xavier University. I said it was via Tri-State Freethinkers. Is it ok if we use a different location? Our donations are not meant for anyone specific r they?

There are still some open appointments for blood donors during the 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM timeslot on July 6. It only takes a minute to register and make an appointment online.

Sorry, I wanted to donate, but I called Hoxworth and if one has had chemotherapy, he/she is never allowed to donate. :-(
