Meet with others who love watching movies and maybe chatting a little about them afterwards.

The basic aim is to go the movies with a group of friends, and have a bit of craic afterwards, we may go to a bar or grab a meal somewhere nearby. Generally we seem to watch pretty much everything and anything, veering a path between pure 'art' movies and pure commercial movies and everything inbetween.

Between all the organisers we try and arrange at least two movies a week, often a lot more, you can also organise meetups yourself some other nights/days if you like, just let one of the organisers know and we'll set up the meetup for you on the web page.

How does it work? We use central Dublin cinemas (to be fair to everyone): the IFI, Cineworld, the Savoy, the Screen, the Lighthouse. The majority seem to be at Cineworld due to the great deal they have with their unlimited card, which many people have. We generally meet up to 30 minutes before screening either just outside or just inside the cinema. Given the 'free seat' option at some screenings, we request people not to get there too late as then we end up scattered all over the place.

Afterwards, we often go somehwere either to eat or drink and chat generally, but some people may need to just head home which is fine too, obviously having just seen a film together this forms part of the conversation, but it generally meanders off elsewhere pretty quick as it would any other night out with friends.
