We are the first local chapter of The Circle of Reason, an international organization for pluralistic rationalism (or "plurationalism"). We're a unique venue for charitable service, where those with diverse and in many cases disparate beliefs and backgrounds engage in reasoning dialogue and fellowship across the gulf of human difference, to help us lessen neighborhood tensions, eliminate prejudice and discrimination, and combat community deterioration. Although our members remain affiliated with their cherished groups that rely on religious, atheist, biological, ethnic, cultural, economic, political, tribal or ideological kinship, they also join the Circle to examine and bring their different perspectives to the round-table of rational discourse, demonstrating the plurationalist belief that our public commitment to consistently practice simple, everyday reasoning, regardless of our worldviews, will help bring humankind's next major step in its moral evolution. Like the Ancient Greek Peripatetics, we nature-walk during our transbelief & transcultural reasoning dialogues on a wide range of topics (after all, Earth's a bit nicer than Vulcan!). We're the place in the Twin Cities to find, recruit, converse with and encourage -- from all walks of life, all biologies, all beliefs, all societies -- those who are your own kinsmen and kinswomen: The reasoning kind!
