We usually skate wednesday/thursday evenings at Queensway but also arrrange occasional Weekend events at different rinks. I'm not a great Ice skater personally - this group is aimed primarily at those who want to learn to skate or renew an old hobby. It'd be great to get some good skaters along though to teach the rest of us!

The eXtreme 5 Challenge is a team event that comprises a swim, kayak, cycle and run, all in aid of charity. I have set up this group because I think there are people out there who would like to take part in their chosen challenge, but don't know the right people, or don't have enough time to make up a full team. The swim leg on the Challenge is 1.5km in open water with a half distance event also available.
