My name is Pamela. I enjoy meeting people! I enjoy helping people! I relocated back to Georgia in July from Anchorage, Alaska where I had a lot of friends and ran two meet-up groups. I've yet to make many friends here so I thought "what the heck" I'll start my own group where I can make some friends. I also own a business. I'm involved in several networking groups but it just seems we never get a chance to sit and talk and get to know each other. This will be a group where we could socialize, do …

I teach M-Th and have many family obligations evenings and weekends. I would love to meet up with folks for a morning book club. We'll meet one Friday morning a month at an East Cobb restaurant for brunch and a book chat. Titles a bit more sophisticated than Harlequin Romances (not that there's anything wrong with that!) but not so complex and "heady" that your brain has to hurt while reading it. Members will be encouraged to take turns selecting books and restaurants.
This is a group for those of us 21 to 41 who don't always fit in. Maybe we are too smart, quirky, artistic, or just like to go down the roads less traveled. How do you know if you are a misfit? Well, if you have ever felt like you don't belong somewhere else, you belong here. We won't judge and we will embrace our differences. We will be doing all kinds of outings and workshops. I've already got some fun ideas and I look forward to hearing some of your ideas as well.
For a four-hour weekly commitment, Wed 7:00-9:00 p.m., Sun 10:30-12:30 p.m., you get harmony, beauty, community, love, acceptance, and training in vocal development and preservation through aging. It's a small choir, the members having sung together this way for a long time, doing very well at listening to and respecting each other. Right now, we're doing music from a few decades ago, much of it with close harmonies and hymn lyrics. If you can read music and love harmony, you're right in our …

Sometimes being a geek girl is a lonely experience. It's hard connect with other women when their staring at you funny because you're trying to explain your theory that the nature of a child's mutation stems partially from genetics as seen in Polaris and Magneto, but mostly from some sort of trauma before puberty, the time in which most mutants first exhibit abilities. Ex: Nightcrawler wanted to disappear because of his demonic appearance and he did. You flashed 'em a little bit of your geek and …

You do not need to know how to play or how to read music. The key to the Native American flute is to play what is in your heart, not what is written on paper. Real Estate agents in Metro Atlanta are faced with objections from buyers and sellers every day. Today's buyers are bombarded with data making them leery to buy hoping prices will improve while sellers are reluctant to price their homes at the price that will sell their homes in a reasonable period of time. Each monthly session has (3) segments: a. An audio visual presentation of about 30 minutes by Steve Harney, a nationally recognized real estate data specialist who brings data to life. Hi …
I'm looking to put together a small book-chat group (under ten people) of ladies like me who love to read romance novels, and who would like to get out of the house now and again to talk to other adults! We'll meet at various East Cobb restaurants every other Friday at 11 AM, hang out, and discuss a selected romance novel. We can also dish about other things we're reading, watching, and obsessing over. In time, I hope the group develops into a supportive and fun network of friends. If this sound …

This group builds team communication skills. Attention to the details and skills taught and supported here may push you through the glass ceiling you've experienced in job and career development. The training does take its kick-off each time from the Book of Revelation in the letters that Jesus himself dicated to some small churches in history. What better place to begin learning communication skills! You should attend if you'd like to improve your teamwork at the job or in the office, i …
