We are a collection of drumming enthusiasts in New Orleans. Some of us are weathered drummers, while others are novices. We all meet once a week to share what we know, have fun, and find a unified rhythm with each other. Those with a background in other musical types (or those who practice arts that complement drum music) are welcome as well. This group is open to every spiritual faith.

The purpose is to gather a group of people to motivate each other through the couch to 5k program. We'll set a goal to meet at least twice a week at one of the area parks and run. We will slowly work up to run the Oak Alley 5K on March 25, 2012. The couch to 5k program is a beginners' running schedule created by Josh Clark and is a great way to get in shape!
