We will offer weekly scheduled runs with a designated route. We recognize that every individual has their own goals and pace. Some are coming back to the trails after babies or injuries, some are looking for a little extra motivation, and some are training for a marathon or other race. The group meets a few times during the week and usually on …
The Marin Film/Foodies is a group of like-minded men and women who enjoy a wide variety of movies. Whenever possible, we try to match the ethnic cuisine of the film, but otherwise the goal is just to share a good meal and conversation after a movie. We primarily watch movies in Marin County. We regularly patronize the Rafael Film Center, but also visit mainstream cinemas and other local venues. Very rarely we will venture outside Marin and go to a specialty cinema in the East Bay, San Francisc …

Tall people eat more food and are given more personal space (one or two extra feet, similar to what people give their bosses). They have higher I.Q.’s, longer lives and bigger salaries, earning about $789 more per inch per year. They trounce shorter people in presidential elections and other popularity contests. However, according to Arianne Cohen in "The Air Up There", tall women are less likely to marry and have children. They are reduced to wearing men’s trousers and ugly shoes. They are c …

It all started as a way to combine getting a run in at my favorite micro-brew pub, and now I'd love to expand it further! We'll use this group as a way to do our Iron Springs Pub Runs, both winter and summer, but also to introduce more training runs, both trail and road, both on the streets of San Anselmo, Ross and Fairfax and the trails of Mt. Tam!

But that doesn't mean there's nothing to do here once the sun goes down! This group is intended for those who want to explore the potential of Marin nightlife, be it meeting and mingling at a local lounge, checking out a new restaurant (or an old favorite), dancing to live music, seeing a show or theater event, attending a book or poetry reading, braving an open-mic ni …

The American Chronic Pain Association has a new chapter and it's in Marin County! Come join a peer-led support group that will encourage you to become a person again, instead of a patient. Anyone in Marin County (or beyond - if you're able to get to us) is welcome who experiences chronic pain (pain that typically lasts 6 months or longer). We have all ages and backgrounds! Come be with others who understand exactly what you're going through!
