The first 5 miles is a bit strenuous\, so we w ill go in 5 miles and camp at the Barlow Flat campground.\n\nIf you are lat e for the 11 AM departure time no worries\, just meet up at the campsite.\n \nSaturday we will continue 5 miles to the Sykes campground\, which is wher e the hot spring is located. We will spend the day relaxing/soaking. Ther e are hiking trails that continue from the hot spring for those who might w ant to do more hiking.\n\nSunday you can hike back to the trailhead if you have to back to work on Monday. I will be staying an additional night and doing a day hike from Sykes.\n\nMonday those who stay hike back to the trai lhead.\n\nMonday evening/Tuesday morning is the Leonid meteor shower\, whic h is peaking at 12:30 - 2:30 AM. I have reserved a spot for myself at the Esalen Institue for the pubic bath hours\, which are 1AM to 3AM. If you a re interested in joining me\, call 831-667-3047 for a reservation. Reserve as an individual\, not part of our group as they limit the group size to 4 \, 20 persons total.
