Walking or biking up through the park\n\n2. Walking down along the river from 181st St.\n\n3. Driving over and parking on Rive rside\n\n4. This will be a long day\, as we will star t hiking by about 10:30 am\, and will be returning to the cars at approxima tely 10:30 pm.\n\nThe plan is to meet at the Bear Mountain Inn\, and shuttl e at least one car to the base of Dunderberg Mtn. We will then summit Bear Mountain and some of the surrounding peaks\, having lunch at one of these summits\, before spending the day exploring the remnants of Doodletown\; fi nally\, we will hike to the top of Dunderberg for a dinner picnic\, where w e will have a fire\, watch the stars come out\, and finally watch a firewor ks show over the Hudson river from our spectacular viewpoint. \n\nEveryone will be responsible for bringing their own lunch. It's not only unfa ir to the people on the waiting list\, it's unfair to those who didn't RSVP at all because they didn't expect a spot to open up.
