I am having us meet at t he porta-potties at the children's play area (there is a big new fancy "big toy-ish" thing there - and it's the best place I could find that everyone will be able to locate). Once you turn into the park (you enter the park a cross from Western State Hospital - I believe off 87th - don't park at Pier ce College)\, turn left and follow the road around until you see the play a rea on your right (it is before you reach the usual dog park gravel parking lot). There are porta-potties there (right near the road you will drive i n on) and that's where I'll be. As always\, on the hike\, park rules apply \, and shy dogs are welcome\, so don't let your dog approach another withou t the owner's prior approval (don't assume that they are all super social). This is open to beginners through advanced. There are some nice hills to kick your muscles into gear\, but you never get far from the parking lot s o you can bailout any time you want.\nNote: There is a dog park there (bot h big dog and little dog parks)\, so if you want to come early and play in the dog park\, or stay after the hike and play\, you can do so.
