The CITY TO SUBURB moms group includes moms in Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles and South Elgin. We meet for playdates, park visits, brunches, seasonal parties, book clubs, charity opportunities and more!
- Offer mom to mom support
- Provide fun activities for our children
- Give back to the community
HOW TO JOIN:
Request membership on Meetup. You will be contacted to come out to one of our Meetup activities to meet some of the existing members. If you decide that we are the right group for you, you can pay your membership dues and be allowed into the group and get access to our information. We do this to protect the privacy of our members.

Group dues are $24 per member ($2 per month). 2015 dues should be paid by Feb 1. Dues pay for our Meetup fees and our seasonal parties. For payment instructions, please e-mail Kristin Tuerk at email@example.com. In order to properly budget for events, we ask that all dues be non-refundable.
Our group offers a variety of charity opportunities, including at least one local charity opportunity during the holiday season. Participation is highly encouraged.
Regular attendance at our Meetups is a must. Members must attend at least one Meetup event every two months to remain a member. All members must also host/plan one Meetup event each calendar year. This is to help us keep a tight knit group and allow our children to get to know one another. Please contact the group organizers to plan/host an event.
If you cannot make it to an event that you have RSVP’d “yes” to, please update your RSVP to “no” more than 24 hours before the event begins so that hosts can make changes accordingly. The only reasons for a last-minute RVSP change to “no” on the day of an event should be an illness or family emergency
If you or your child has signs of a fever (greater than 101*), a runny nose, rash or other symptom of a possible illness, please help us keep everyone healthy by not attending an event until everyone is better. Not sure if you should attend- contact the event host or a group organizer to ask. ;)
Group members are granted access to our “secret” Facebook group where we can offer mommy advice, list last-minute playdates and more. A group organizer can add you to the group. It’s an easy way to stay in touch with the other ladies.
